deciding between two phones that has very few differences always comes down to a matter of taste. and between the n82 and the n95 the trump card will answer the question of: what features does the phone offer that i can really use?

if you want my personal opinion, i'd go with the n95 - but there are drawbacks, take it from someone who had owned and used the phone - the 8gb memory seems sufficient enough, but once you get half way full, problems like sluggishness, sporadic hanging/restart are definite realities. also, since you're going to be using this phone on a daily basis, be wary of the slider - as a general rule, the more moving parts a phone has, the more prone it is to wear.

if you think you can put up with those, the n95 is a great all-in-one media device as nokia claims.

If you can live up with the keypad, N82 is a good choice. Xenon flsh is awesome as you can have great photos in pitch black darkness and the protecting cover is also a plus.

Hi guys two days ago I got my N82 black. It?s totally great phone. The black one looks really nice over other two colors. It can do all the things that N95-8GB can do plus you?ll get xenon flash and camera shutter which is really need to protect the lens. Keypad is little bit different but you?ll use to with it. Os is stable. GPS works fine with Google map or Nokia map. And camera quality is same as a digicam. The only thing I don?t like that the headphone came with the phone. It?s totally useless when come to music navigation; you can?t fast forward with headphone buttons but about music quality through the headphone quite acceptable. But happily you can use any headphone with the phone because it has 3.5mm jack. I should buy a headphone of N95-GB or N81. If you thinking about 8GB memory space of N95 then you can have an 8GB memory card and N82 within N95-GB price range. Lens cover is really does matter if you want to use your phone longer and keep taking picture like fresh. And I think you know all that what xenon flash is capable, doesn?t need to mention again. Only screen size is winner of N95-8GB. But from my opinion N82?s screen size not so bad. I?m totally net person and with N82?s screen I easily work on net. And there is a useful function that called auto rotate screen. If you hold the phone horizontal mode or vertical mode the phone auto rotate the screen for you.

So if you need my opinion then I?ll tell you go for N82 without any others thoughts.

i prefer n82..because i used to travel a lot..the photo quality is much better than n95..but if you like slide model you should look up n96..although the keypad are not user friendly but it has the newest software and hardware..anyway i've used n82 up to now and i'm very satifiied with the performance..

both phones have alot to offer - as what many comments here about what's great about each phone. but indulge me if i give a less-than-flattering opinion.

i've used the n95 8gb and yes, it does live up to it's name of being an all-in-one device, get soo much files in the thing and programs, even sending text messages will take awhile! also there's also someone who said something about the slide? -Sooo true! after a while, the slide really does feel loose. add that to the plastic-ish feel of the thing and you'll think the screen could fall right off.

as for the n82, DO Not use this phone if you have chubby fingers (speaking from experience, of course!) if you're someone into heavy texting, the keypad will be tourture! - i came to that conclusion when i borrowed my brother's n82 for a week. other than the keypad, the other turn-off for me is the sound quality - yes. there are two speakers, but at medium to high (not full) volume, there's clear distortion and the in-call quality is also so-so, often i have to crank the volume up to hear the person at the other end.

i said it before and i will say it again, choosing a phone is a matter of taste - go for the phone that best suits your purposes not the "wow" factor. - and after changing cellphones soo many times, i should know that! hope this helps, good luck to you!

N 95 2 GB is a good phone . Both of these sets comes with similar camera. But N 82 comes with Xenon flash & thats really affective if ur shooting in low lights. N 95 got larger display useful music button and VGA video recording facility.
N 95 8 GB doesn't comes Camera leans cover. An expensive camera is always risky without a leans cover
I'll suggest you to buy N 82
And if u think that u can carry a phone with attention and care go for he N 95 8 GB
