n73 gps problems! please help!

hello everyone! iv got a nokia n73 on orange, got it on pay as u go. the problem iv got is iv bin told the phone has gps but is aint really that good. is there any way i can improve it with out havin a external device. nokia sport tracker wont work. also i carnt get the phone 2 stay on 3g! any help would be great! thanks boyo!

i have n73 ME.....nokia maps already installed on it....the thing is you gotta download the specific map to your device using a nokia map installer.....you'll get it on nokia.com.....thats the easy part......then you gotta take a special connection from your operator to have access to GPS......nokia n82 and the other's have this built in.....it's easy on them...........anyway hope this helps..............

The N73 doesn't have internal GPS. You will need to buy an external receiver such as the Nokia Bluetooth GPS Module LD-4W. You simply connect via bluetooth and your set to go.

offcourse n73 doesn't have gps on it......it uses gprs and wap sat points to connect to the satelite....it's like google maps.....only uses some cash...nokia n82 and n81 have gps built in.....they work fine...also voice navigation...........
