Media shuld teach teen abt da consequences of non-safe sex.teen must be taught abt sex at school through academic course and through programes on t.v and through advertisment besides all this measurement Parents should teach their children.

Thanx jay

doc atleast 25 words thats the rule
btw i think its not about the protections.contraceptives ..teenage couples should not do sex at all..though its tough coz lets face it us guys are more hornier than women so we make the 1st move so in the first place we men should control ourselves

jay, i agree n on that one! Couples. specially teenagers shud abstain from doin so, if you can't avoid it, use contraceptives! Its cheaper than diapers etc... But all i can say is do not do it unless ur married or ready to settle down,, its more complicated than what young people think! Given its "FUN", but what comes after this delightful feelin,,,, right? think before you act! think 100 times!

Teenagers have no business being sexually active. They lack the maturity required to be responsible for the consequences. It's not only unwanted pregnancy but also the risk of hiv. One of the problems is that sex is everywhere. Just look at all the sexual content on zedge where a large percentage of the members are teenagers.
When we as a society choose to expose children to drugs, sex and violence then many children will do drugs, have sex and be violent. We can blame the parents. We can blame the schools. We can blame Hollywood. We can blame the internet. The truth of the matter is that we all bear responsibility for these tragedies. Adults owe it to the children to act responsibly.

This is indeed a problem that the society now is facing. The schools and media are indeed doing something to overcome this "problem" but i dont think its enough. Parents and maybe friends should play a part too. I am a teenager and i do have to say, teenagers are naive. They dont really think about something thoroughly before doing it and its only when its too late to do something about it will they stop and realise its wrong. But if they're with the right friends, with suffifcient attention from parents, and i believe religion and beliefs plays a huge part too, the numbers of teenage pregnancy might go down..

teenage pregnancy...another proof how our society have changed and evolved

as a parent myself, educating my children about sexuality will play a major role, outside factors like media, peer pressure, or plain curiousity will have its effects but for me, making sure that your children understood that even though most teenagers are doing it doesnt mean its right
