ike_spud, what you do is you download whatever ringtone you want, then save it to your computer as "~AlertFile301". make sure put a different number for each one. ex: ~AlertFile312, ~AlertFile320, ~AlertFile317, etc. Then plug your phone in and put the ringtones on your phone (copy and paste from the saved folder into the "Audio" folder)
Then go to your phone to the songs list, and transfer the files from the memory card to the phone (Media - Audio Player - scroll down to whatever song you want - Options - Manage - Copy - Phone). Then go to settings and your ringtone will have a different name, for example, ~AlertFile320 will show up us Neon. And just choose that and you're good to go

Hey romaniancutee,

Those are good instructions but I cannot manage to get this to work...

For some reason, my laptop doesn;t recognize my Motorola phone when I plug it in....so I was using the bluetooth method.

I named the file as ~AlertFile301 as you said, without the .mp3 but still not working....am I doing something wrong?
I copied ~AlertFile301 from my computer to the Audio folder on my phone via bluetooth but not sure where to go from there...

Help :S
