ive got U700, how can i change my sms tone to mp3?

Ok since im getting so many pms about this ill do a small how to.

Ok thats it, should be able to do it now easily. Installing games is also easy.

what you have to do is flash your phone. Basically erase the standard U700 software off the phone & put U708 software on there. the U708 is exact same phone just has different firmware on it.

hi all.
i read through this post cause i too want to be able to use .mp3's as sms alerts, so i have a few Q's and if anyone could answer these i wold muchly appreciate it guys.

1. does the 'U708ZHGH1' firmware allow .mp3's as sms alerts? did this firmware fix the problem?

2. how bad is it when u create sms's using this firmware? cause Mench08 said its not very user friendly, he said he has to keep pushing the centre button (did he mean the keypad 5 or the centre button inside the arrow dial?)

3. with the 'operator setting gone' has it made any difference when using the phone?

4. finally are there any other major bad things on this firmware that is a major concern?

gyus u discribe here so many thing abt samsung u700, but still i have probs can run java files, cannot use mp3 ringtone as sms alert.........and i chk all the threads ur given links but dont know which file i ahev to download and wht is the codes........
