Honestly i think the celcome broadband is failure as users need to buy machine which is worth hundreds of ringgit in order to use the service excluding the monthly charges which celcom charge which is close to around Rm60-Rm80

It is too inpractical to use celcom service

i dont know about anyone else but, i like using the celcom broadband unlimited...
and im using it to post the comment now ...
BUt, the time when i bought the USB modem, it was still in promotion and celcom cut the modem price to RM400, exactly 400! and paid just 500 rm that time, 400 for the modem and 98 for the registration fee.
the pros of using the USB modem:
- u can connect to the internet at anyplace at anytime
the cons
- u can only connect to the internet if ur place have HSDPA or gprs
kinda sucks! but who care man, as long as my place has it>

Paying Rm400++ just to get to the internet with celcom guess you don't have any so much money to spend with maxis broadband u can do the same thing in just rm138 it function exactly same like the celcome broadband unlimited i certainly not using any TM product..because their customer service suck

omniknight86, maybe you should understand that hackTHEplanetG spent RM 400 to get a USB modem that own by himself. However, with Maxis package you only rent the USB modem which own by Maxis, not you.

With RM138 package, you pay RM 98 for the broadband service and RM 40 for modem rental. Let's assume after 12 months, you already paid RM480 just for renting a modem and not own it by yourself (even more expensive than RM400 USB modem that hackTHEplanetG bought). Furthermore, if you cancel the Maxis broadband you have to return back the modem as well and you got nothing.

Obviously, who don't have any much money to spend here? Is you omniknight86, not hackTHEplanetG.

Maxis rental do not charge modem rental go check maxis broadband bill it only charge for the monthly internet charges...on top of that there is a rebate of RM15 every month...saved a lot unlike celcom broadband i don't see many people are using it

And by the way eventhough u own the modem...if u cancel the service virtually the modem becomes useless since their modem had been modifiend to only can be use with certain cards inside it so at the end is the same actually

Continue using celcom...is just that i am not a celcom supporter although they are now trying to grab chinese market share but however seem to be too late to change their marketing strategy
