I saved a ringtone to my sony w300i but cant SET it as a ringtone. Where exactly should i be saving it to? I put it in ring tunes but when I hit "use as" it says I cant use it. Some one please help me

Cannot set this file as a ringtune is all i can come up with

maybe the phone is branded im sure it should work. there must be a reason

it doesnt matter where saved as long as in music folder either phone or memory card, your doing it right clicking use as then should come up with another menu and you then select ringtone

Funny thing is NONE of them Iam able to use .I can put themes on it fine.If it was branded I would not be able to put themes on it. Even the themes with ringtones play fine...I dont get it

try using MPtrim, create your own ringtone (30sec) and use DRM packager. Transfer only the "locked" package to your phone..this works like a charm
