Ring, Ring, Ring…due to popular demand and after much sweat and blood from the dynamic Zedge technical team, you are now able to upload and share ring tones.

To get started simply click the upload link in the
Zedge ring tone section

or from the Upload and share a ring tone in the My Account > Upload section:

What’s really awesome is the new Zedge crop tool that allows you to make your own ring tones. Crop your audio files (most audio file types are supported) down to the required maximum of 29 seconds. If your upload is more or less than 29 seconds, that’s ok too -- the ring tone maker allows you to choose where to start and end the ring tone. Slide the white “Start” and “End” bars to the desire spot in the file. You can play and stop the ring tone as many times as you like to get that perfect ring tone. Press “DONE” and that’s it! It’s that simple.

Remember the Zedge upload policies apply to all uploaded content , and don’t forget to name, tag and categorize your ring tones appropriately for the Zedge public gallery.

Congratulations you have just created your very own ring tone!

As you see, we don’t have too many ring tones in the gallery just yet, so get started uploading. Who knows -- perhaps this might be the key to earning that prized ZedgeHead status you’ve wanted for the last month!

I have a question for Jeremy. Will Zedge be changing the Uploaded Items part of our profiles so people can view our uploaded ringtones without having to go and search for them? Like out themes/Wallpapers are displayed at the bottom left of our profiles. Just think it would be useful.

Would like to hear soem feedback on that one!
