The os platform is same so u can pretty much run the same stuff on both with ease
but what makes the SE P1i ba clear winner is :

1> bluetooth 2.0 with a2dp so u can use ur "stereo" bluetooth headset
2> cam at 3.15..need i explain
3> massive size of rom....256mb ..expect better performance
4>fm radio with rds............hey u do relax....

so for just a few dollars more....u get that business phone which also execels as a multimedia fone..go for the se P1i

i see, P1i have 3.2 mega pixels and E61i have 2 mega pixels.
camera doesn't look important for me course i have my own digital camera
but the important thing is P1i have video call camera beside E61i
i see these two phone didn't support HSDPA, is that worth to buy the phone which did not support HSDPA?

Is E61 still available in the shops over there? If so, you may want to consider that, since you don't really need the camera.

Then you'll have more spare $ to that P1i when your'e ready for it.
