"Cannot be set as ringtone" This is driving me crazy!!! Why won't this work???? I can get ".mid" rings to work, but not mp3's. If I scroll through my list I can hear them, but when I go to set them as my ringer it won't work... Even the ones that I've gotten off rogers do not work!

i just tried to get an mp3 file as a ringtone after reading ur post and its working fine.

here is what I did:

go to MENU, then SETTINGS, then TONES, here you can select the current Ringing Tone and Change it, it will take you to sub-menu, there would be 2 items i.e. Open Gallery and Tone Downloads... Go to Open Gallery and select an mp3 from the folder where u keep ur mp3 on the phone.

cheers!. msg me if u have further probs.

May be your mp3 files r big, really big. I have some friends that tell me "How is it possible? You have much more free space in ur memory card and much more songs... blah, blah.." Just b-coz they don't know encode their music files (yep, still people like them). Oh, I'm sorry for my bad english.
