First of all, let me tell you that I don't know what happened to the previous topic. In any case, I'm not looking for a culprit. Many people is asking these questions all the time, so I thought it would be a great idea to put all the instructions in one single post.

How to add Flash animations and games:

Find a site with embeddable animations and/or games and embed them like you do with imeem playlists or songs.

Some good sites to start:
For games:

From AlbinoBlackSheep:
Go to http://www.albinoblacksheep.com
Go to Developer Embed Codes.
Embed the games in the same way you embed music from imeem.


From ArcadeClinic:
Go to http://www.arcadeclinic.com
Find the game you want. Click it and it will start.

You will find an embed code under "Game Information"

Embed the games in the same way you embed music from imeem.


The only problem is, some games will not be playable (Especially from AlbinoBlackSheep). They are bigger than our forum or About Me width, so they look blurry when resized. For example, Save The Sheep is not playable. I tested it in my profile.
Remember, About Me width is 345 pixels.

Embeddable Flash player and animations
Go to Metacafe
http://www.metacafe.com
Find the anmation/video you want to add, and click Blog/embed player


Embed it as you do with imeem music.

I don't know if there is a way to embed a standalone flash animation I guess the answer is "no"

How to add a clock:

Instructions are the same as those to embed music from imeem

ClockLink:
Go to http://www.clocklink.com/
Go to Gallery.
Find the clock you want and click "View HTML code".
A new window with the Terms of Use will appear. Click the accept button.
Your clock will appear. Choose size, color and time zone. Note that not all clock models have the same options.
You will need the embed code in the lower text box. Then embed it in the same way as you do with imeem music.

SiteClocks:
Go to http://www.site-clocks.com
Find the clock you want and click Use This Clock
Choose the color and width you want. Remember: About Me's width is 345 pixels. Embed it just like you do with imeem music.

One last thing:
About Me's limit is 1500 characters. If you added too many things, you may have run out of space, or have too little to add more things.
In this case, go to http://www.tinyurl.com, paste your game/video/imeem music/clock URL there and click Make TinyURL.
You'll get a shorter URL that can replace the originals and give you more space for other things. It's free and requires no registration.

How to embed ZEDGE Videos

1. Click the "Free Videos" link on the left navigation menu.
2. Find a video you want to embed.
3. Click it and scroll down. You will find two boxes; one called "Embed Code"and the other called "URL". Copy the text from the "URL" box.
4. Go to My Account My Profile and type the following text:
[fpvideo][/fpvideo]
5. Paste the URL you copied between [fpvideo] and [/fpvideo] and don'¡t leave spaces.
6. Click "Update Profile".

NOTE: Embedding a video in a forum post is similar. Just use [ffvideo] and [/ffvideo] instead. It gives a bigger size that fits the forum better but it wouldn't fit in profiles nor guestbooks.

How to add a YouTube Playlist
Note: You need to register in YouTube in order to create playlists.

1 Go to YouTube and find the video you want.

2. Click the video you want to add. The video will open. Then scroll down a little and you will find an option called "Save to Favorites". Click it and you will see an option to add it to your favorites or add it to a playlist. If you have created a playlist you may choose it. Otherwise choose "[New Playlist]". Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you have added all the videos you want.

3. Go to "My Account" (On YouTube, not Zedge!) and click "Playlists". Locate the playlist you want to embed and copy the "Embed" code. This is an example embed code. I've highlighted in bold blue the part you need to copy:

4. In Zedge, go to My Account My Profile and type this in your About Me:

and paste the part I've highlighted between the [fpvideo] and [/fpvideo] tags. Remember, don't leave spaces.
5. Click Update Profile

Add a hit counter on your Profile
first go here :

now you have to embed the given code

you can change counter style too, go to its site, choose Counter style tab and then apply your desired style

Add a horoscope to your profile

To add a horoscope into you about me,you have to visit the website
http://www.rockyou.com/ than scroll a bit down,and click on the image with horsocope.
Write your name in the box,and choose your birthdate.
After you did that,just click on the button "Get Your Horoscope".

Than just click on skip,you don´t need to register,to get the horoscope when you would register,you can than just later edit the horoscope,but just change your name or your birthdate.

Now you are finished with creating it,and no need to change the size of the horoscope,it`s allready big enough for the "About me" section.

Now choose MySpace and check the emded code,you just need the part i make here red
