You don't need an Antivirus for os9.1, or os9.2 devices. PlatSec, which is already on the device, is more than enough to protect it.

take this for instance,i got infected with matrix CW from a wap site renamed as power mp3 skin.my careless fault really,should have noticed that there is no 10kb. power mp3 skin.remember always..READ WHATEVER INFORMATION RE.THE FILE BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD. and always back up your important phone files.

Search for antivirus on the net. The big brands like Kaspersky and so on have antivirus for symbian phones. The have trial versions that can download.

great advise. very informative post. but i have to mention too that you could also get a virus by connecting your phone via data transfer mode. although there is a slim chance that pc viruses could infect your phone there is a chance that such virus could wreak havoc on your mmc. so always scan for viruses when connecting via this mode. keep it safe.

There is no virus for S60V3 version 9.1-9.2 till date. So, no need to get anti virus for your S60v3 it will slow its performance. If you badly need this go to Kaspersky's website, there are providing a good antivirus for S60V3.

most of the Antivirus stuffs available on internet r only trial versions..and they never last more than a month.. and i have tried Kaspersky , Fsecure and Netquin anti viruses.. nothing has detected any virus in my E65 so far.. i never got a virus on my mob so far. Before installing files on my mob i put it in PC and run a virus scan..I think that will help..
