Hi witty 99, my post was about the error that apears every time you want to instal an aplication on a simbian mobile phone, in my case a Nokia 5500. It was not about download, so if you have problems when you try to install an aplication, write me again and ask what part of the first post you do not understand. I can't help you if you have download problems, I recommend you to contact your operator's public relations if you have such problems.

Try to change the clock's date to 2007 or 2006 and different monts, then try again and see what happents, if it does't work this way just do what I have told you to do on my first message posted here and change the parameters on the applications settings menu. Bye!

When I try to install an application (E. g. theme, game, VPN client) to my Nokia device I get an error message: "Installation security Error. Unable to install" or "Certificate may yet not be valid, is expired or phone's day settings may be incorrect"

If you get such an error message, please set the device date to before 12.6.2007 (or for some applications maybe even earlier), and then this error doesn't appear and installation continues normally. After installation you may set date back to current date.

If this does not help then
TOOLS>APP MGR>OPTIONS>SETTINGS>SOFTWARE INSTALLATION and changed it from SIGNED ONLY to ALL.

Good Luck

thanks a lot!!!!
