Blackberry 7100T no network in Australia

Hi guys,
I have just bought the phone above off Ebay in US was told that it was unlocked and had no problems with Asia region at all,however finally got it today and have put my sim card in and no network is coming up,has anyone got any suggestion am very frustrated.

Are you sure that you haven't bought a blacklisted phone?
