Can anybody please tell me what the largest capacity of (RS-)MMC for Nokia 6630 is? Right now I've the 64 MB RS-MMC that came with the phone, but would like an MMC with larger capacity...if I'm not wrong, I think I've heard that Nokia 6630 isn't compatible with other MMCs. Can anyone please clear me up on this? Thnx!

The nokia 6630 uses a DV (dual voltage) RS-MMC which is different from most nokia's. dont bother buting just any RS-MMC, coz u need a DV-RS MMC. as far as i know, it's available upto 256 MB

Ooooh...that's great news! 512 MB for 6630.

Anyway, I've another question: When you get a new DV RS-MMC (I'll probably just get the 256 MB, that's far more than enough for me) you have to format the MMC, right? How can you do this? Do you need special device for that?

As far as I know, you can format the MMC on your phone, how do I do that? Then you can do it on the computer, but then you'll need a card reader (I haven't got that). How do you format it on your computer? Do you need a special programme for that, too? Thanks in advance!

To format MMC on your phone go to tools->memory->options->format mem .card
to format on PC you just need card reader no need for software

Thnx m8! I think I'll get myself a card reader as well...could come in handy. Besides I've read somewhere on the forum that it's supposed to be better formatting the MMC with the PC.....and faster.
