To all those sulked dudes in the mobile industry, everyone knows about the S60 interface that Nokia uses for its supposedly high end N-Series phones. All experienced users of S60 know that the phone hangs a lot. And especially with a 5 mp CZ lens cam, the phenomenon is much more common. And i have experienced the N95 first hand and it s**** in sound quality and the camera interface.
Even i used to be a Nokia boaster in my days of N70 and believe me, N70 was till now, the best N-Series Nokia has had.
Since my switch to SE w950i, i have realised Sony's audio and picture prowess. The Cybershots are definitely better than the Cams in N-Series but even the ones in W series are equally good at performance (except that autofocus features and stuff). The screen quality, which is why i mentioned the w950i is that, i have compared the N95 (16 million) vs the w950i 262k colors. Trust me, 16 million doesnt make a difference coz the human eye wont understand the difference, and as it is, the display of the w950 looks gorgeous and even the pictures in it. Both have same resolutions (240 x 320), yet, w950 displays any picture so truly and beautifully. Nokia s**** in screen quality even with all those millions of colors. w960 will be equally good. Trust SE.
Coming to Audio, SE wins hands down, no doubts. In my opinion, SE wins against iPods too, the hearing pleasure is just awesome. To the dudes who doubt this, just go and check out the 3 (Walkman Series, Music xpress and iPod....and ull know wht i mean).
I may look like an ardent SE fan from my post, but trust me, i was only a Nokia fan till now, i only became an SE fan after using one!
To finish, my choices are:
SE W960i, Nokia N95, iPhone in same preference order. |
