thats because the inbox is on the phone mem. search for an app to save messages to mem card. ive forgotten the name of that app.

Nope, i have only few messages on the phone. I still have 4MB phone memory while the full phone memory is 6MB.

Your problem juz like me... Me also having this type of problem... After reformat also the same... if the file is below 4kb is no problem with bluetooth, but when the file is bigger than that the phone will appear the error.

get MSDrive E, it stores ur messages on ur mmc, n da software is only 5kb in size! tiny!
if ur messages are in phone memory, sending stuff will use up ur phone's memory.. even if u have 6mb in phone memory (which i doubt) u cant send 7mb files via bluetooth..
get the software i mentioned, its usefull~

U must know how big size the file that u try send to ur phone,if large from phone memory its will be show "Not Enough Memory, delete some data" message.

Try to upgrade ur phone Firmware at Nokia Service Centre at ur town, if u cant try to format ur phone with *#7370# and put ur phone code.
Its take a few minutes to format it,but remember Back Up ur data first from ur phone memory like ur "Phone Book"

MSDrive E its not function at 3230 if u remove ur mmc without power off ur phone! I have try it.

Last : U must know that Nokia 3230 is most complicate conflict and not supported phone with some aplications and games

I'm using MSDrive E .... it works fine on my 3230!
I can send files as big as the MMC card size
