Establish telnet or samba connection....

how can you Establish telnet or samba connection....? im can't also apply a particular theme, though im copying it from freemod? please help

search under tutorials n they have a brief description how to establish telnet...after telnet then only u will be able to use samba.

does telnet applies to all countries? i've tried the tutorials in modmyto but i still cant connect.. dunno whats wrong.. im from phils.,by the way! thanks

u can to the forums of china to get some useful sofeware .

to install theme/skin u don't need telnet/samba connection. just flash ur E2 with modding firmware and copy the themes to My_Skin folder

Like King quoted , be extra careful with installing new themes on the Rokr. Like I've told many people if your looking for a phone that you can p**p with all your favorite custom skins and themes , then stick to Nokia phones , they seem to be the most accepting of 3rd party applications , and themes are easially installed and accepted. Motorola phones on the other hand have a very finicky system that doesn't out right accept skins like Nokia phones. There are several steps you have to follow to get around what appears to be some sort of skin lock they have built into their phones so , IE your stuck with the pre loaded theme ( my Rokr only has one theme ) and when you upload and try to install a new theme you usually get the error meaasge , unable to open , file unknown. Now like the people quoted below there are several ways you can get around the system and install skins but one wrong move and you have a trashed phone ( it happened to a firend ) and if the phone is fairly new you just f****d your warranty , because the folks at Motorola are going to say , hey not our fault , you s*****d up the phone with a unsupported 3rd party application.
