It can only be done via imei if your service provider is willing to supply you the code otherwise it's a box or clip job. Take it into a professional unlocker!

I wouldnt post ur IMEI on da net if i was a mod id remove it for you. You could always flash your phone.

What's the point of flashing the phone?

It won't unlock it!

Flash it with generic firmware and havnt you people herd that people steel phones, find an imei number to another phone then change the stolen phones imei to a not stolen phones imei. That way the phone wont get barred and can get resold.

Do some homework!

The phone in question is a K310i and flashing it will not change the imei or remove the network lock!

Imei changing is illegal in most countries around the world.

Not only is IMEI changing illegal, it is impossible on all modern phones. The IMEI is encoded on an OTP (one time programmable) chip, so the only way to change it would be to attach a new OTP chip, about 10 hours worth of work with an experiences micro-engineer

Flash it with something like wotan or davinci if its compatible.

I never would have relised flashing would not change the imei NOT im not stupid.

Illegal i know but murder is illegal yet it still happens. If something is illegal it dosn't mean people won't do it.

As fo Puddster's post (hehe puddster) he seems to have his facts right although i knew of a place about a year ago which employed cheap chinese engineers to change the chips in phone. Perhaps they were changing thr OTP. They closed down know though cause police nabbed em, so whatever they were doing it was illegal.
