Do you know that flash themes would be flashed into the phone?
Not stupid copying to theme folder but flashing (over XS++ or Phone XC or similar).

According to the tutorial, flash themes are not available for the W850i. Or am I reading this wrong.

If they are, I would be interested to know where we can get them.

Beginning from W810 flash menu support is in all phones from W-series (W850 including). You need 320*240 menues.
Flash menu support list:
W200 (128x160)
W300 (128x160)
W550 (176x220)
W600 (176x220)
W610 (176x220)
W660 (176x220)
W710 (176x220)
W810 (176x220)
W850 (240x320)
W880 (240x320)
W900 (240x320)

W800 (f/w version R1L002 only) and K750 flashed to W800 with R1L002.
