You should take the phone to someone that has the external hardware to unlocking/flashing the phone. Ask him to re-flash with the original firmware.

Try using P2K tools. You can use P2kT to switch it to p2k mode then fire up P2k Commander (or some other p2k you want to use).

if you use 'Vista' then you definately need the newer p2k drivers or have some knowledge of mapping the drivers.

i've read in some forum that said if phone doesnt have usb settings then by default it is set to data/fax mode. However, i still cant connect my phone using p2k tools.

I am using windows xp sp2. And here are the steps that i've done to try to connect my phone.

1) Connect phone via usb to pc.
2) A window pops up, saying that windows found a new hardware and ask me to install driver. I installed the driver inside the p2k tools folder.
3) Another window pops up, saying that my new hardware is installed and ready to use.
4) I open P2KTools(v0.7.1.9) and change it to p2kmode. Then when i press connect, PC couldnt detect my phone anymore. And also "found new hardware (USB Composite Device)" pops up & said problems occured during installation and hardware might not work properly.

Can anyone please help?

SP2 tends to give problems when installing the P2K drivers at times.. connect your phone then go to add/remove hardware, then remove the Motorola Modem you see, then disconnect the phone, restart computer and do it again (reinstall the same way you outlined.. sometimes you have to do this a few times to get everything to work correctly. P2K drivers and Windows dont play very nice together
