I am not saying abt gerrard leaving the club as u said he is a one man club but if he receives a red card.

The departure of Garcia was not a bad decision as u would have rarely c him in the match. For pennant and Finan they both are struggling after an injury. They are both out of Clinic and they are training but have not yet been to their best.

It is speculated that Riise will be leaving Liverpool shorthly. I dont know how far this is true but Yesterday heard that news while watching the match. Also Riise in his interviews said this is the only clubs that he is playing and would like to finish his career at anfield so will have to wait for some more days to get an update over the matter.

Hmm... If Gerrard "saw red" and was asked to leave the pitch, I guess Liverpool would be 10 men down, right?

So far, I've not seen Gerrard being shown a red card and it's hard to imagine too.

Are you sure? I think Garcia scored a lot for Liverpool for the last Champions League.
I feel a bit pity to lose Mark Gonzalez. He could contribute more to the Reds, if he happens to stay at Anfield.

Heh? Never heard anything about Riise leaving Liverpool. Need to find out from my friends around. Thanks for the info, anyway...

ok but dont write off the possibility that he may be injured.

Ya that fellow was great. Liverpool lose a lot of players like that. I dont know if u recall of Sinama Pongolle a french player, Nunez (taken from Liverpool Academic) for the time being we have Leto (came on thru the transfer window last year) who is not being given chance to play but still young i think 19 and Nemeth who is called the next god. Hopefully these two players get chance to play.

Do let me know coz avnt heard anyth great abt it as told b4.

Definitely, I don't want Gerrard to face anything like that - sent off. Anyway, you're right that the possibility is there.

I've said ample of times that I started paying attention to soccer only mid 2006. So any players before the said time may not ring a bell to me. Still, thanks for sharing the info.

About the latest development about Riise, I'll post again if any news is heard.

Riise wants goals shared around (report dated Jan 21,08)

Liverpool's John Arne Riise believes more of his team-mates need to start chipping in with goals.

Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres have scored a total of 18 Barclays Premier League goals between them, more than half the goals managed by the entire team.

And Riise believes the Reds must avoid becoming too over-relient on the two stars and start producing matchwinners all over the pitch.

The Norwegian told the club's official website: "People talk about Torres and Gerrard scoring all our goals, so we need others to come in and do that.

"Babel is coming in and scoring goals and starting to find his top form.

"Now it's up to wingers, midfielders and even defenders to share the goals because Torres can't win every game."

I see... ...
The report is also meant to share with other Liverpool supporters.

Hopefully Riise will deny the speculation and stay with Anfield.
