Now I think I misunderstood your previous question, but I don't think the template has something to do with that. If the theme doesn't work, make sure the theme resolution is set to 128x160. There is a box in the main window in the toolbar where you can select the resolution.

Check if there is some missing element

Also, check file size. How big is your theme?

Try donwloading a theme and open it with Carbide-ui and see what's different.

Try optimizing the flie size. The best way si to optimize images' file size. The b est way to achieve smaller file sizes without compromosing quality is openming your images in a program that optimizes file size by removin g unjused colors. You can adjust compression too, but this will affect quality.

Also you may want to check preinstalled themes' file sizes to see how big are they.

The preinstalled themes are the ones whcih came with your phone. There was surely three or four themes.

Paint is not good at all at optimizing pictures. But if you use it, don't save the images in Windows Bitmap (*.bmp, *.dib).

There is a free program that can do what Photoshop does, but it's not as easy to use as Paint. It's called The GIMP

You don't need to thank. And there may be an easier solution to your problem, no ned to install anything on your computer.

You can use an online image optimizer here. You upload your image, let the site do the work and download the optimized image. Your image must be GIF, JPG or PNG and must not exceed 300 kb. Ater uploading and clicking on Optimize, the results will appear below.
