samsung d500- screen help

sorry bout my crap title! and sorry if someone has already asked this! but on my samsung d500 there is a menu thing down the side of the screen its so annoyin and means i cant see my total wall paper... my brothers on the other hand doesnt have a menu and when u get a message or a missed call or watever it comes up along the bottom of the screen i was wonderin if there was any way of gettin mine like this too i hate the menu thing!

i too have d500 for more then year now... and i didn't discover any option like that... so i surely doubt that it has that kind of option...

Its orange installed software. Cant be removed from nokias, would think its the same with samsung. just work your wallpaper round it

Yes, it can be removed. My company offer the service, but the downside to it is it's a complete re-flash and system upgrade.

Basically, what needs to be done is the firmware on the phone needs replacing. The system I use will put generic Samsung firmware on there, so you also loose branding (the orange logo, etc.). The problem with that is you also loose all photos, videos, contacts and settings.

But at least it can be done.

Correction: It can be removed from most nokia's, but the process is that same.
