My v600 got in water today.

I dried it with a low heat blow dryer, but now the screen looks worse than it did before.

I dried out the battery good.
Put it all back, and only some of the number pad works. So I can't punch in phone numbers. Also, the right and left function on the round key pad isn't working. Up and down works.

Can I buy a new keypad to fix that problem?
Where do I look for one if the answer is yes?
I did have a page bookmarked that sold parts for my phone but I can't find it now that I need it.

What do you suggest as I can't afford a new phone right now???

HELP PLEASE. I need some comments to help as I'm new to cell phones. If I hadn't slipped and fell the phone would not have been in water, but it was an accident that happend and now I am just sick.

1st. check your insurance/warranty as this may be covered
2nd. if you have switched it on since it got wet...it's probably fused all the circuitry (basic physics) batteries are usually the worst affected it scrambles the memory.
you could attempt a rebiuld...but could cost more in long run if it fails...e'bay is good for parts

Well, most of the phone is working believe it or not.

The only thing that currently does not work is the front display.
When someone calls it does not light up, it stays black. It does not show the time, and so forth.
Is that part replacable?

I did not purchase the extra insurance. I bought my phone from Cingular the end of July. Since I got it wet I doubt they will do anything for me.

It CAN all be changed and all available on e'bay too...depends on how nimble fingered you are (you'll need a T6 screwdriver as well as a screen, and be very careful not to split the rubber seal)
