When I was putting an mp3 onto my e398 the 'mp3 maker' software wouldn't transfer a certain song. So instead i just used windows to drag and drop it into the audio folder. But when i did that i got a large amount of odd files appear as well.

I deleted the problem file, but the other files stayed. Now i have a load of strange files i can not delete that take up half of my memory card!
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Put back the file that corrupted the phone in the first place...this will contain the delete details within it (guessing) ...it sounds like you have dropped the read only file into the phone rather than the actual mp3.. you'll need to enable 'show hidden files' in you explorer folder options

This didn't work, it went on and came off with no problem. I've changed all the files so they are not read only but still wont delete them
