Why the whole thing reminds me something of a witchhaunt? In the same manner we should ban all wallpapers of religious, violent, horror and etc content. The people running the site should consider the suggestion of making a category accecible only to 18+ ( If I'm not mistaken when registring the date of birth is required) so the persons who would like to upload/download posts not fit for minors, won't have aq problem....

Nudity / Sex: The most reasonable way to get around this issue is to create a separate category for adult images. Some say that kids visit this site, but don't forget that this site has personal information about registered users! The best way to solve this is to allow access to adult content only to [b]registered users[/b], soy you can check if they are above 18.
(Offensive) eligious content: Don't forget that Jesus has his own TV show in South Park! Religions are not a joke, but if you can't laugh a bit about it moderately (without going too far), you are on the wrong track. I have heard the controversy about some Islamic parodies in Europe, and I didn't see them, but I know there were serious riots and some people died. Does a cartoon worth a human life?. I'm not justifying anything; as i said before I haven't seen those drawings, but just don't sacrifice your life for a piece of newspaper.
Offensive content in Zedge: I own a T290a (Why only T290i is selectable? It's the same phone, but for different regions!) and there is sveral marijuana wallpapers. (Search for "Weed")Drugs are bad! I won't judge you if you want to get high, but let me tell you that marijuana and other drugs are illegal in most of the world. It's okay for me if you like it and I don't approve censorship, as I said before, but are there rules for anyone?

Any some people are offended by South Park. I'm not personally, but some are.
I find overly religious (christian) themes offensive. I'm not christian, jewish, islamic or anything.

All valid and respectable opinioins.
But you can't please everyone. Better to play on the side of caution than to inadvertantly offend someone.

What I meant is Zedge has such a personal info about us. When you sign in, the site shold be able to verify if you are above 18 based on your registration information and allow access if you are. I'm not a site designer and I don't know it it can be done, can you tell me? Of course, it should display a warning page when you acces adult content, allowing you to choose whether to continue. If you are able to read and you want to access offensive content, it's up to you. The point is to keep users away from unwanted offensive material. Youngsters below 5 years old are not a concern because normally they can't read and therefore they won't acces categories by theirselves (Anyway, you shold not leave a kid alone with a computer with Internet access?). Of course, if such a system is implemented, adult content should not appear in searches or Most Popular unless you are searching for adult content.
Anyway, if the final decision is to keep the site clean, it's okay for me, but please apply the same rules for everyone. If you are not allowing porn (offensive but legal) don't allow anything illegal. I don't care about weed smokers, but it's not okay to allow illegal content.
I will respect any decision about this,a nd alway follow the rules. Even if I'm defending porn, I never uploaded offensive content and I never will. Too bad the controversy became that big...
