Razr V3i issues Installling Games+skins

Hello Folks,

I had a Razr V3c and installed successfully skins on it without any problems using P2K. Once it was installed i would find them in the personalized menu under skin.

I just switched over to a Razr V3i and used the same steps and nothing is showing up in the skin menu. If i use P2K commander to view my folders, i see the added skins (of which i believed created new folders from the root directory) but they do not show up in the personalized menu on the phone.

Also, I've added java games from dragging and dropping the .JAR and .JAD files into the kjav folder and again the game doesn't show up in the menu.

Any information would be much appreciated.

you may need to flex your phone with the skins 'HF' file using smartmoto or PSt program.

as for the java files.... these will need to be installed, not just dropped into phone.... use midway for this by connecting program and sending the .jad file

I have the Midway prog but I download the games but its not .jad it .jar and I don't know how to install it to my phone can anybody tell me step by step how to do this please

I've installed several java apps on my V3i without using midway. I did the same, just copied the jad and jar file into the kjava folder of my phone's tflash. By default the phone is set to read java apps found in the phone's main memory. What I did was to press the menu key (the one between the two softkeys), then select 'switch storage device'. After selecting the tflash, it will show all java apps installed in the phone, *plus* a list item that says '[Install New]'. When '[Install New]' is selected, it will list all jar files that are in the kjava folder of the tflash. Select one of the files, and it would then be installed.

I have v3i and i have instaling game successful but matter is when i try to start game it shows that my network is not catching greystipe provider. which shows ad sponser. how can i run my installed game ? plz. help me in this regards.

HI thr,

use the following method to install the java games on motorola razr v3i.

1> Download all the java games onto your computer
(java games are files with the extension .jar)

2> Attach the usb cable given with the cell phone and attach the v3i port to the pc's usb port

(the v3i should be on when u connect it to the pc,
the pc will recognize the cell phone as a mass storage device,
also it will open itunes if installed you can close that application,
next open my computer and enter the new drive created,
there will be 2 folders itunes and mobile,
open mobile,
next open the kjava folder inside,
paste the game files u downloaded on your pc into this folder)

3> Now unplug and eject hardware and disconnect the usb cord

4> open the cell phone,
open menu,
go to games & applications,
hit the menu key,and switch storage device to Memory card,
scroll down and select the option install new,
the games you copied will be liste here,

5> click on the games ,
the cell will prompt to download
select download to either phone or memory card (preferably memory card)
say yes and then run

6> follow step 5 till all the copied games are installed on the phone

this will work i tried myself

use motomidman & Skiman ...these will load them easily now they have been bettered in the beta tests done...as long as your drivers are set up correctly.

hello spawn4ever.....i read where u spoke of issues relating to games and skins on a v3i razor phone...

Well, i have a razor v3i razor...and here is what i used for skins/themes.

I am not much a lover of games but i hope this will be useful.....

download motordrivers version 1.0.0.1
download RSD Lite 3.3
download Skiman latest version
and a cable

make sure after installing skins using cable switch off phone then take off cable and restart phone again to be on the safe side.. go to the settings section where u will find the skins and install

these are what i used...... tell me if they work
