Hi, i've recently purchased a Bluetooth Dongle from Ebay to use with my 6111. I was just wondering if there is a limit to the file sizes you can send with bluetooth dongles and if so is the file limit a global limit or specified by the individual brand?

There's no limit on sending files through bluetooth.it depends on your phone memory or mmc whichever u choose for storing your messages

Excellent. Seeing as my phone doesn't support MMC it'll be based on the inbuilt memory. Thanks for the speedy reply.

Well, just if u r talking about file transfer limit caused by the transfer software. If u bought a dongle and the dongle came with the software cd, probably thereīs no problem with limits.

Be carefull when upgrade this software or even changing to another one. In my case, I bought this dongle and it came with Bluesoleil software... to "better integrate" the dongle with XP (thatīs what it says in the box). Installing the software thought the cd... ok, but the deal came exactly when I tried to upgrade it. In bluesoleil www, the offer their software with 3 or 4 MB of transfer limit, after that u have to buy some kind of license or something.

Not sure now, but i think ibmīs widcomm is the same thing. So.... be carefull to not choose the wrong software.

And, if u r not talking about transfer limit caused by software... iīm sorry to waste your time

ps.: sorry about my rusted english
