go to nokia home page then support then click on e71 ....check there which type of app support your phone

Uninstall. Delete all whatsapp related files. Re-install.

Try to refresh your phone and be sure you still have enough memory to fully utilize the installation and it will not make your device hang when installing. . try to download this fresh version compatible with your phone... download it from whatsapp ..
