 | w580i or w880 I have a w580i and it is very good. It looks nice, it has a reasonable camera, and I find it great to use.
On the front of the W580i, it has a small walkman button which gives instant access to the walkman. While music is playing, you can hold down the walkman button and SHAKE the W580i and it will automatically change music tracks to the next one in the queue.
Personally, i prefer the W580i.

| I tried to convert to MP4 My question is not how to convert but how to compress the size of a video clip? I converted .flv/you tube video files into 3gp or mp4 format but ultimately the file size shows such as 15-25 mb and then my sony ericsson w580i can not just play the clip!!!!!!!!!! | k750i or w810i I'm running a w580i myself, but I recently unlocked/debranded my boyfriend's old w810i; and it's now better than my unlocked w580i. The 810 wicked easy to unlock, has a TON of awesome flash menus, and generally just looks cool. My only problem with it is this: the sound during a call is crap. I don't know if it's just this phone - but I usually have to set it on speaker-phone, or use a headset in order to hear during a call. | .mp3 downloded songs on w580i Use a mp3 cutter, cut the ringtone to 30 secs or less, if that doesnt work make the file smaller than 600kb, i found this info on sony ericson forum.
Mp3s can be used as ringtones. I got some ringtones already preinstalled into my phone that are in mp3 format and its fine to set.
The file just needs to be small, i guess ringtones can't be played for like 3 mins on the w580i

As for your phone, I don't understand which model do you have. I'm sure it's a typographical error; there is no W50i. Plewase edit the title and correct the model. I think possible models are: W550i, W580i, W850i, W950i

| which is best, Nokia 6300 or Sony w 700i (Stereo , the bass is just nice) , I find SE's walkman phone's bass is lacking. GPS , 16 million colours , symbian system (non-lagging) .
SE phones advantage - Much better battery life, sms system (prefer ) and 3D system (very good graphics)
That's all I am going to say about this.
