Lg Crystal GD900

hi i downloaded a few message tones from here and went i play them normally on my phone (LG Crystal GD900) they fully play but when someone texts me and the tone plays it plays about 4-5 seconds,, is there somethin i need to change or is that the length a text message allows the tone to play? thanks

MSN/IM on LG GD900 Crystal

In the specs, its clearly stated that Crystal does have Instant Messaging(IM) service but I have tried eBuddy, it does not support to install. I will have to use the eBuddy Lite, is this consider their IM in their specs?? Are there alternatives?? Help!
